Busayo Adeshoga came to the Adeola Ajayi Foundation camp in 2021 to sharpen their skills, meet more skilful players and coaches, and learn more about the game. The memory that stuck: how happy everyone was, especially the youngest campers.
Beyond the drills, the camp included a career and motivational talk from founder Adeola Ajayi, who shared his own story and what it takes to succeed. Adeola emphasised the three Rs: be responsible, respectful and resourceful.
Today Busayo plays basketball in Japan and applies the three Rs every day. The camp has even inspired Busayo to want to start a foundation like AOA for their own community.
